This is my first week joining in on Yarn Along, a weekly linkup where you share what you're knitting/crocheting and what book you're currently reading.

Currently I'm working on my first pair of socks. It's the Silver's Sock Class pattern, which is a tutorial with lots of photos. I'm also doing it with the Beginner's Knit Along group that I'm part of.
As far as books, I just started All God's Children by Anna Schmidt, which is set durring WWII, my favorite historical period. I got it for free on my Kindle a while back.
Very pretty shade of green. Your book looks interesting too! Thanks for stopping by this evening.
ReplyDeleteYour yarn is really pretty, I love green. I always think it's nice to meet another Washingtonian too!
ReplyDeleteYay! You're knitting socks! :) Prepare to be addicted. Silver's Sock Class is amazing- it's how I learned to knit socks and I still use her basic pattern for plain socks. (I even refer back to her pattern when I'm making socks from another pattern.) It made knitting socks seem so simple that I wondered why so many knitters acted like it was terribly difficult!
ReplyDeleteI've heard very good things about that sock knitting pattern. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteYou are really picking up knitting very quickly! Love seeing what you create.
ReplyDeleteI nominated you for the Liebster Award on my blog! Check out my post for more information. :)
