It's Raining Umbrellas | eShakti Dress Review

For many years I've admired eShakti's dresses. They have a very classy and timeless style that I love and is sadly much harder to find these days. A lot of their items have vintage vibe and there are so many pretty colors and prints. What's not to love?!?

So just imagine how excited I was when Jane from eShakti contacted me, asking me if I would like to a review on my blog for them. Um, yeah! I was totally up for that!

After browsing dresses for a day, and going back and forth on what to choose I finally decided on one: the It's Raining Umbrellas Dress. It's a cute blue dress with yellow umbrellas. I liked the gathered waist and the thick waistband, as I find that style most flattering for me.

Since I'm a shorty and regular clothes don't fit the best, I went with the custom sizing (which is $7.50 extra). I also added Inset Cap Sleeves, to make more versatile/less summery.

First off, shipping was incredibly fast. Just three days after receiving the shipping notification and it was already here. I was making breakfast when there was a knock on the door and was totally surprised to see that it was my dress, especially considering it came all the way from India.

So I opened it up, slipped it on, and oh. my. goodness. It's perfect! I'm so glad I went with the custom sizing, as it fits like a dream. It's rare for an item of clothing to fit me this well!

When I ordered it I had trouble imagining exactly how the sleeves would look and if I would regret adding them. Right after pulling it out of the box, I knew I made the right decision. They look so cute and the dress looks fantastic with them.

The fabric is a really nice quality and isn't super thin or sheer. It has a blue lining and all the seams are really solid and sturdy. It has an invisible zipper on the left side and it feels really solid as well.Another cool thing about eShakti dresses is that nearly all of them have pockets! It doesn't get much better than that.

All in all, I'm more than satisfied with my dress and have nothing at all to complain about. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone and if I know anyone looking for a dress, I'll be sending them to eShakti for sure.
